The National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Summit 2026, held on June 22–23, 2026 at The Manila Hotel, brought together the country’s most influential government officials, CIOs, technology leaders, and industry innovators under the theme Strengthening Public Trust in Government through Technology and Innovation.
For SAGESOFT, this summit was more than an event to attend — we were proud to participate as a Platinum Plus Partner, the highest tier of industry partnership at the summit, alongside our technology partner OutSystems. As a Platinum Plus Partner, SAGESOFT and OutSystems operated one of the most prominent booth presences on the exhibit floor. On Day 1-2, Mr. Jervie Lazaro, Lead Solution Architect of OutSystems, delivered Keynote Presentation — bringing deep technical authority and practical insight to one of the summit’s most anticipated morning sessions.
As a Lead Solution Architect, Mr. Lazaro brought a perspective that resonated strongly with the government CIOs and technology leaders in the room: not just what OutSystems can do, but exactly how it works in practice to solve the complex, high-stakes challenges that government agencies face every day.

Mr. Joseph Era on Stage: SAGESOFT’s Featured Government Solution Presentation
Mr. Joseph Era, Service Delivery Head of SAGESOFT, took the stage for the Featured Government Solution presentation — delivering one of the afternoon’s most compelling moments to a room full of the country’s top government technology leaders.
His presentation, delivered under the summit’s Day 1 focus on transparency, connectivity, and security, centered on a live demonstration of what digital transformation looks like when it moves beyond pilot programs and reaches every corner of the justice system.
The slide that stopped the room said it best:
“You just witnessed digital justice at national scale.”
Mr. Era presented eCourt PH — SAGESOFT’s flagship judicial digitalization solution built on the OutSystems low-code platform — which has already achieved two landmark milestones that redefine how justice is administered in the Philippines:
- E-filing is now live for civil cases and is mandatory for the Supreme Court — eliminating paper-based submissions, reducing processing backlogs, and making court access faster and more equitable for litigants, lawyers, and judges alike.
- AI-powered transcription has been deployed nationwide, with full rollout targeted by Q4 2026 — replacing manual court stenography with accurate, real-time digital records that are immediately accessible and permanently preserved.
These are not proofs of concept. These are production systems, running at national scale, serving the highest court in the Philippines today.
Mr. Era’s presentation made a powerful case to every government agency in the room: that the complexity of transforming a legacy-bound institution like the judiciary is solvable — with the right platform, the right architecture, and the right implementation partner.
For the government CIOs and decision-makers in attendance, eCourt PH was a live reference point: if digital transformation can be done at this scale for the Supreme Court, it can be done for their agency too.

The summit dedicated a full block to the theme Securing Beyond Network Connectivity for a Resilient Digital Future, recognizing that cybersecurity is central to safeguarding national sovereignty, economic resilience, military capability, supply chains, space infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

A major panel discussion explored Improving Internet Connectivity in Unserved and Underserved Areas Through Electric Cooperatives Under the Konektadong Pinoy Act, examining how partnerships using power poles and existing infrastructure can bring faster, more cost-efficient broadband rollout to unserved, often rural, areas.
